About Ally and This Site
|
Hello! My name is Ally Giese and I am a senior at Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School. I am in a class called "College Now: Art 100". This website is a way for me to display all of the artwork I create in this class. I decided to take this college class not only to get college credit, but also to learn more about how art presents itself within my future career. I plan to attend college and get a Master's degree in OT, specializing in pediatrics. I chose this because I have always liked working with kids and I am fascinated with anything medicine related.
I have taken a few art classes in my high school career, but Printmaking was by far my favorite. I remember inking my first stamp and it did not print well at all. While it was not funny at the time, looking back at it, it has become humorous to me. Art is a way for me to express myself and make everything exactly how I envision and want it to be. It is one thing that I am able to have complete control over, and that brings me a sense of comfort. |
Hobbies
I have a couple of hobbies! I have always loved to dance and have been doing so since I was three years old. I am currently a captain of the school varsity dance team and I soak up every minute I get with my team. Along with the dance team, I am also a part of the varsity softball team at ACGC. I am a catcher and always trying to improve. I also enjoy drag racing my '91 Trans Am. I have been racing since I was eight years old, but have been going to the racetrack essentially since birth. Racing runs in my family on both sides. In my free time, I also paint occasionally. My medium of choice is acrylic paint.
